Statistics: Russia’s wage arrears rise 20.9% to 3.4 bln rbl in July
MOSCOW, Aug 17 (PRIME) -- Russian wage arrears increased by 20.9%, or by 586.3 million rubles in July to 3.389 billion rubles as of August 1, the Federal State Statistics Service said in a statement on Friday.
Wage arrears that emerged in 2017 account for 721 million rubles or 21.3% of the sum, and arrears that emerged in 2016 or earlier account for 1.172 billion rubles, or for 34.6% of the sum.
